13 February 2013 FIDH Releases Report on Internet Freedom in Vietnam

The International Federation on Human Rights (IFHR) and the Vietnam Committee for Human Rights released a report on February 13 entitled, "Bloggers and Netizens Behind Bars: Restrictions on Internet Freedom in Vietnam." The report details the current challenges for democracy activists and other internet users in the country and asks for the release of 34 detained Vietnamese cyber-dissidents. ISC/CD member Vo Van Ai and his organization, Que Me: Action for Democracy in Vietnam, co-authored the document. Read more.
